If bored when doing coding or stressed when fixing a bug? If the answer is yes, then what to do next? πŸ’­

How do you mitigate all these complications?
Pause your work for 30 minutes to 1 hour and try to follow one of the ideas.

I share some ideas over this blog. They will help to maintain a calm mindset. Go through all the topics and find two or more that suit you best.
These ideas will help to divert the current mindset and refresh your thoughts. 😌

1. Do Blogging

Choose any topic which you like to write about concerning. Think about the content. Organize the content into sub-topics relevant to the topic. Publish on any platform you prefer (Medium, Blogger, Wix, WordPress).

Tip 1: How to start at Medium?
Initially register to the system. Then choose the topics you like to read and set your profile. Setting up the user profile requires less effort.
Now start blogging with Medium!

2. Use Figma

Figma is a web-based UI designing tool that is freely available. It is easy to use for everyone.

What to do with Figma?
Graphically design wireframes, prototypes, and posts.

3. Learn small portions from different programming languages.

You can learn how to use JavaScript and CSS along with HTML to animate buttons or images.
You can learn how to set up a react project initially and commit to GitHub.

4. Walk

Forget about the issues you have. Just walk few distances.
If you are at home, take a deep breath, visit each room. If not, go out and watch outside. Observe the environment; vehicles on the road; clouds in the sky; animals in the surrounding.

No worries, get up from your seat. Visit your office washroom and come back. You will feel an immense change.

5. Activate your sense organs. πŸ™ˆ πŸ™‰ πŸ™Š

When stressed, use stimulants to activate the sensory organs (nose, tongue, eyes, ears, and skin). The research on sensory organs has proven that they can alter behavior by stimulating.

  • Smell a perfume that stimulates the smelling buds.
  • Drink a cup of coffee.β˜•
    Reboot your mind by consuming coffee. Contents like caffeine in coffee have the power to level up the energy and make you fast in both physical and mental aspects.
  • Consume dark chocolates.🍫

Eating much will make you sleepy. So avoid too much food or junk food.

6. Sing a song loudly. 🎀

Listening to music may change your mindset but let us think conveniently. If you practice singing songs regularly, sometimes a developer can switch the job role of a singer.

7. Listen to or watch comedy videos. πŸ˜†

Laughing is the best medicine in the world. Watching comedy videos and laughing can balance the mind and relax you mentally and physically.

When you try to do an activity then you are bored, it has to boost you and improve your skills. As developers, every day, we have to develop our skills. Think of something different which is relevant to you but irrelevant to the current activity. A day has 24h, ⌚️ so let us try to spend our time meaningfully.
